Purchased for my mom. She was having issues with foot pain. I wear nothing but brooks and told her to get a pair. She loves them. My mom is 83. No more foot pain.Their Brooks.... nuf saidSo I LOVED these and they were my work sneaker.Now I have 3 pairs that I rotate so was extremely upset to see the toe ripped less than a year after having. I then purchased a new pair and use these as my walk the dog sneakers .With that said I really wish I had contacted for replacement bc they still look new aside from the rip.But embarrassed to wear in public.Other wise the ricochet is my fave!I have plantar fasciitis...these shoes are an answer to a prayer! Thankyou for making them available!!The light weight of the shoes was noticeable from the moment I tried them on. I did not have to use the shoelaces as the shoes themselves held attached to my feet like gloves. After a 2-mile run wearing only no-show socks I had no rubbing marks on my skin. The upper material is soft, it made my run smooth and comfortable. I would recommend these shoes. I will order a second par as well.These are nothing like the other Brook shoes I've bought. If you're looking for good arch support these are not the right shoes for you. There is no real support in these shoes at all. Could just buy a cheaper pair of shoes at a discount store and get the same quality.I only run in Brooks these days - lots of injuries over the years, and lots more bad shoes - but these are excellent. They deliver all that great Brooks support we know and love, but weigh only about 8 ounces. My biggest problem with cushioned runners is how heavy they can be - these definitely fix that. One note, I think these run about a half size big - I'm usually an 8.5 in Brooks shoes but am definitely an 8 in this style.I've been told that Asics are the best running shoes. For a long time I believe they were the only shoes. I finally purchased a pair of Brooks. I have totally fell in love with these brand of running shoes. Plus I love the way they look and feel. My next purchase will be Brooks again!!I irdered my shoe in a 7.5 as I was advised to order a half size form my dress shoe. However I found the shoe to be too tight. Luckily, Amazons returns policy is excellent. I had a replacement the next day! Now that I have them in a size 8 they fit perfectly. The pain I had in my knees is now gone and they are so lightweight I forget I am wearing them. My only negative is that they feel really hot on my feel, I perhaps need to find some thinner socks but other than that and the initial issue with the size I feel so happy with these shoes.
