First let me say I ordered over 10 boots for my trip yo Italy that just passed. I returned every one of them for dome reason. I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking so in rain and some what cool weather. I hasbe a basbasby bunion on my left foot so ebdn though my feet ate not wide I needed something with enough toe room and with plenty of support.I looked at these boots several times online and just wasn't thrilled with the looks of them. They just didn't seem as stylish a boot as I wanted for Italy. Finally 4 days before my trip I was stressing with just a pair of Skechers and flats I wasn't sure what to to. I purchased these through Prime. Size 6W. Received them and when I put them on it was like walking on clouds. Though a tad bit big they had plenty of toe room and support. I purchased an onsole to put inside and only wore it once. There was no need for extra support. And trust me I walked between 10-15 miles each day on cobblestone. I would switch out between these and my Skechers and every tine I regretted it and wanted these bs k on my feet.I give them a 4 bevasude style wise I wish y were a little cuter. Not as bulky but trust me you will get over that real quick. They are not waterproof but I sprayed them with a protector before leaving and had no problems. After much research and two different brand boot returns later, I settled on these Naturalizer boots. I normally wear a US women's size 7.5 to an 8 just depending on shoe and how my feet feel that day I suppose. I must admit a huge deciding factor in ordering an 8 was that the size 8 in this dark brown was only $25 whereas the 7.5 were around $70. The boot is VERY comfortable, I ordered the "medium" size and I tend to have somewhat wide feet, there is plenty of room in the 8M for my toes to wiggle around, there is a lot of heel space, kinda like Danskos fit in the heel, the rise of the heel is not enough to feel in your back (I stand all day for work) but enough to make it not flat, and gives the boot a cute look. The side strap IS a adjustable but only by a few holes, seems like it's there for the style and not to make boot tighter. No biggie, I am adding additional holes to make the boot fit a little snuggler around ankle. The size seems a tad on large size 8 size, but like I said I normally wear 7.5 to 8, so I probably could have gotten away with the 7.5 this time. Still a great boot! I can see how the sole would wear out quickly though as it's kinda a hard foam like some instead of a hard one, which probably adds to the comfort of the boot. Happy with these, would most likely order again if I needed another pair!Love Naturalizer boots. Have had a few suede boots that are fabulous. Was hoping these would be also as they are close in style, but my baby toes hurt everytime I wear them, and they are not tight, but the boots seem to make the socks rub my toes raw. Very disappointed.I'm wearing them today for the first time and love them. I'm hard to fit, I had high hopes, and I've returned several other pair of boots in my quest to find something that is both comfortable and cute. I know some reviewers have said they wear out too quickly or are made cheap. I really hope that doesn't not turn out to be the case! I can say now that there is nothing that looks cheap about their looks.Things I really like about them: 1. The toe box is just a little wider or perhaps more rounded than many other styles so they fit me much better. 2. The soles. I love that they're rubber, but have a distinct heel; they're not slippery, but they don't have major tread either. 3. They have some kind of very thin lining that just makes them a tad more comfy than a basic leather boot. 4. The leather is very soft.I was a little turned off by the name of these (cycle booties), but the little ripples in the leather really help break up the length on a long foot (I'm an 11).Hope they hold up well. If they don't, I'll try to update this.I currently have two pairs of these shoes in black. They are ridiculously comfortable and fit very well. The buckles jingle a bit when I walk so I can't sneak up on anyone. Very nice quality. My first pair has a crack in the leather where a man with rather large, possibly steel-toed boots, stepped on my right ankle as I was leaving a restaurant. A few days later the abrasion appeared. I tried to treat with a little polish, but with not much improvement or hope of them lasting a few years, I bought my second pair. This new pair doesn't seems so new. The box was damaged and the right shoe was unzipped, misshapened and stretched out at the ankle, has damage on the seam of the zipper and on the strap near the buckle, and there is some dirt or salt on them.It was the last pair in my size so I will not be returning them.So overall the shoes are great but I was unlucky to receive a returned pair. These boots are light and comfortable and although I might not get much wear out of them outside the house, I like to wear them indoors because they are one of the few pairs of footwear that I can bear on my feet. I got a bargain price from Amazon, and that makes them more likable. I would not have paid the original price, however. They are not well enough made for that much money. Some arch support, some cushioning, a fair amount of toe room, although the toe box is a little shallow and it's reinforced, so a bit stiff. The heel height is just right for me. The soles are extremely thin and the leather flimsy. Still, I'm grateful for them as I can wear them in relative comfort.I actually have worn these little zipper boots for about 2 years and searched them again when the died. I live in PNW where it’s cold and wet all the time but we don’t let that ruin anything. These are cute, strong, go with anything and keep your feet dry and warm regardless of the condition.I loved these when I first got them - - but after having them for about 6 weeks, the "leather" has chipped off of both toes quite significantly. So while they are still comfortable, they now look cheap. Definitely not the quality I expect from Naturalizer. These boots look nice and the insoles are quite comfortable. The leather is very stiff, thus feeling cheap. The rubber soles squeak on any flooring other than carpet, which annoys me.Walked miles in these in Scotland - comfortable and held up wellMy daughter finds them good looking and comfortable.Magnifique et très confortable, beau style.
